Thank you to all of our Coyote families who came out for our annual Title I Literacy Night! It was wonderful to see students and families learning, exploring literacy activities, enjoying dinner, and spending time together at CES.

A huge thank you to our staff for making the evening possible, PTA for the donations, and to our families for continuing to partner with us in supporting our students. 💙💛🐾

Families will learn more about evidence-based literacy practices and enjoy hands-on reading activities together.

College Colors Day – Tomorrow!

Students and staff are invited to show their school spirit by wearing the colors of their favorite college or university this Friday! Whether you cheer for a local favorite, your dream school, or your family’s alma mater, let’s fill CES with college pride! 💙💛

Our staff spent the day building relationships, strengthening community connections, and taking the Pack on the Move throughout Christiansburg. As we plan, learn, and come together, we remain focused on what matters most—serving and supporting every student. One Pack! One Purpose!

Returning Student Registration opens today!

Families, please make sure you complete your student’s returning student registration and update all important information, including SchoolCare information.

Please note: Placement letters will not be sent until returning student registration is complete. These letters are schedule to be mailed July 15th.

On Wednesday, Feb. 4, all MCPS schools and buildings will open two hours late for students and 10 month staff. All 11 and 12 month non instructional staff may report to work one hour late. Code Blue.
